Remembered on the way back to Belmont.... the other area I use glut med assessment for is knee pain. I've always though of knee's as slave joints; if you can fix either end and then treat the knee. Yet another example of working your way in it would same.

And of course for those who don't like weight bearing glut med exercises, there's always the good old clam exercise. I often suggest it with a theraband around the knees for resistance now

Yeah, good one Nicola. I always explain to the patients "the knee joint is the most complex joint in the body, but otherwise, its just the bit between the hip and the ankle" :lol:
